Colorfall
Colours fall. Touching colours mix. Mixed blobs burst first.
COLORFALL is a falling-block puzzler where the well is a palette. You start with three colours — red, yellow and blue — and every other colour on the board is one you mixed yourself.
When a dropped colour lands against a different one, it blends into everything it touches:
- Red + Yellow = Orange
- Yellow + Blue = Green
- Red + Blue = Purple
Get all three primaries into one cell and you get MUD. Mud never falls away, and the only cure is to burst a pool right beside it.
Mixing is the whole game, and it pays. A blob of six pure colours bursts. A blob of a mixed colour only needs four — so mixing is nearly twice as efficient as sorting colours into their own lanes.
And a blob has to be at least two cells wide. Colour only pools when it spreads, so a single column of one colour just sits there, however tall it gets. You cannot win by stacking.
Everything above a burst falls, and one drop can set off the next: that is where the x2, x4 and x8 chains live. A small counter on each blob shows how close it is, and a stack too thin to go off says so.
The ghost is the game. Under every falling piece is a dashed preview showing the exact colour each cell will become. Mixing is never a surprise, and a bad drop flashes MUD before you let go. Every mistake is one you saw coming and made anyway.
Three ways to play
- CLASSIC — endless, and it does not plateau. Every ten pieces the well speeds up, and from level four it starts feeding you mixed colours as well as primaries, so the mud risk climbs along with the speed.
- DAILY — one seeded board a day, identical for everyone, numbered. Keep your streak alive and copy your result.
- ZEN — endless with no fail state at all. If the well fills, it washes itself out instead of ending your run.
Controls
- Desktop — arrows move, up or X rotates, space hard-drops, C holds, P pauses
- Touch — hold the board to aim, release to drop. The ROTATE button sits under the well
